playing with gratitude ~ a gratitude game

There is not a more pleasing exercise of the mind than gratitude.  It is accompanied with such an inward satisfaction that the duty is sufficiently rewarded by the performance.  ~ Joseph Addison

What if everyone agreed to practice this teaching tomorrow?  This might look like cultivating a feeling of gratitude for whatever is.  This means finding something to be grateful for as you move through your day.  Radical?  Yep.  A stretch?  Yep.  An experiment in gratitude?  Yep.  Let’s have a carnival of thanks.

Right now in this moment, I, like most of you, have a to do list that’s a mile long.   Right now in this moment, I’m grateful that my fingertips tap out words.  I’m grateful to you for reading.  I’m grateful for the many courageous souls who trust me to help them through the challenges of living life well, from the heart.  I’m grateful to you for you.

What about you?  What are you grateful for in this moment?  See how this works?

Wanna play?  I’d love to hear how your experiment goes so be sure to come back and leave a comment.
