My Approach

I am committed to Self Acceptance Training, helping people learn to experience themselves, others and LIFE without the inhibition of judgment, evaluation and criticism.  I see such acceptance as a means to more fully connect yourself, others and LIFE.  Self Acceptance Training is a practice that helps you take yoga off the mat and into life.

The primary modality I use to support people in experiencing themselves, others and LIFE in this way is PEAT Process and other spiritual technologies developed by Zivorad Mihajlovic Slavinski. I have been lucky to have Zivorad as a teacher.

Along with Zivorad, I’ve been blessed to have many exceptional teachers. They have helped me learn to listen deeply and with compassion.  Through the grace of such teachers, I’ve learned processes and tools that can take someone from emotional, relationship and spiritual pain to a space of freedom that is infused with a kind of ease of being.

Using these skills and what my clients have called “deep and insightful listening,” I am committed to helping people free themselves of emotional pain and learn to live from the Essence of what they are.

An underlying premise of my work is the belief that within and permeating each of us is Consciousness.  I see my work as a means of helping people cultivate a steady state of peace so that they can become more aware of that Consciousness.  This leads to a recognition of and appreciation for the beauty that they are — and ultimately, a sustainably peace-filled life.

This work often unfolds with my clients learning to practice the yoga of relationships (link to the yoga of relationships bit from the box on the home page). In practicing the yoga of relationships, when you recognize points of being out of balance, feeling tension or rigidity – you learn to use that experience and release into the Essence of what you are, ultimately liberating yourself from the pain at its root.
